Our first race of the 2012 season is the Santa Barbara Wine Country Half Marathon to held on Saturday May 12, 2012. This scenic course runs from downtown Santa Ynez through Los Olivos into the Danish settled town of Solvang, all within the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, located just north of the city of Santa Barbara. The field is capped at 3,500 runners so make sure to register soon before sellout. This event offers a team competition and a two-person relay. Registration is also open for the third annual Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon. Experience the friendly charm and beauty of the Willamette Valley as you run from Stoller Vineyards to the town of Carlton for the post-race Wine & Music Festival. Over two dozen wineries will be pouring some of the world's finest Pinot Noir and other varietals. The race expo is held at the Evergreen Aviation Museum, Oregon's 2nd largest tourist attraction.
