This year's race is sold out, but registration is still open for runners who join our national training and fundraising partner, Team Challenge! In addition to getting registered in the race, this program includes hotel, meals and other fun activities, plus you'll be doing good by raising money for an excellent and worthy cause.
Team Challenge is the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s half marathon training program. This fundraising program trains you to run or walk a half marathon while helping the Foundation raise money to find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. As a Team Challenge member, you’ll be eligible to race in Virginia. Team Challenge will even pay for your weekend away in beautiful, historic Virginia wine country, including transportation, accommodations, race entry fees, and entertainment.

Loudoun County Special Olympics is a nonprofit organization that provides training and competition in various Olympic-style sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Training is free to the athletes, so the cost to train an athlete is paid for by fundraising. Special Olympics Loudoun offers year round training in a variety of sports. Athletes have the opportunity to travel throughout each season to compete with athletes across Virginia. Visit http://www.loudounspecialolympics.org/
